Resistance

Resistance is a graphic narrative set against the backdrop of today’s achievement society. It explores how individuals, caught in the machinery of a high-speed world, resist alienation and burnout, and seek to break through cognitive impasses to rebuild the self.
The story centers on an ordinary urban office worker who, in the relentless cycle of long hours and endless tasks, gradually becomes aware of his estrangement from the outside world. From this awareness begins a journey—from passive submission to active resistance, from disorientation to renewal. Through an evocative use of spatial narrative and finely wrought self-reflection, the work draws readers into the protagonist’s inner world, bearing witness as he confronts discipline, dismantles its many barriers, and reclaims agency and meaning in life.
Resistance is at once an adventure through a psychic otherworld and a coming-of-age that confronts pain head-on. It seeks to address a pressing question of our time under the regime of performance and control: in an era where self-actualization has itself become a tool of discipline, can we, through awareness, courage, and connection, break free from inertia and rebuild a life of our own?

《抵抗》是一部以当下“绩效社会”为背景的漫画作品，探讨个体在高速运转的社会中如何对抗异化和精神倦怠，并尝试走出认知困境、重建自我的故事。
故事聚焦于一位普通的都市上班族，他在日复一日高强度、无休止的工作中，逐渐意识到自己与外部世界的疏离。正是在这样的察觉中，开始踏上从被动接受到主动破局、从迷失到回归的旅程。作品借助强烈的空间叙事渲染故事氛围，结合细腻的自我剖析，带领读者进入主角的内心世界，见证他如何一步步作出抵抗，打破外部规训建立的重重障碍，重新寻回生活的主动权和意义感。
