About

BUYI is a creative duo founded in 2016 by Yiyi and Yuer, both with backgrounds in architecture. They create drawings, translations, and essays that are closely related to the act of "seeing", working mainly in the fields of painting, comics, photography and thematic studies.

They are concerned with the "visible". By choreographing memories with images, capturing intuitions with forms and catching the gaze with words, we try to build the visible world in alternative ways.

简介

不一由建筑学背景的两个小伙伴一一、Yuer组成，成立于2016年，主要作品包含与“看”密切相关的图像创作、翻译引介及研究文章，创作涉及绘画、漫画、摄影、专题研究等领域。

我们关心“可见”之物，尝试用图像编织记忆、用形式捕捉意向、用文字追随目光，在此消彼长中建造可见世界。
