Moon Catcher

Mooncatcher was initially conceived as a simple documentation and representation. We took a lot of photos by mobile phone in our daily lives. Undoubtedly, we were touched by them at the moment of taking photos, but these emotions were soon drowned in the vastness of the electronic ocean. So we started to look for visual and emotional stimuli in our photo libraries, trying to give them new life through drawings and words. We distanced ourselves from the existing images with a graphic expression, preserving their date of production while weaving them into a new story, as if they came from parallel universes and just happened to meet here.
This is a collection that is not regularly updated. It is like a mobile archive where we can add, extract and write different histories at any time.

《捕月集》最初的设想是简单的记录和再现。我们在日常生活中拍摄了大量手机照片，在拍摄当下无疑有所触动，但这些情绪很快便淹没在浩瀚的电子汪洋中。于是我们开始在各自的图片库中寻找视觉和情感刺激，试图通过绘图和文字赋予他们新的生命。我们以平面化的表达与既有图像之间保持距离，在保留图像生产日期的同时将它们编入新的故事，仿佛来自平行宇宙，只是偶然的在此相遇。
这是一个不定期更新的合集，它像一个流动的档案馆，我们可以随时添加，抽取，撰写不同的历史。
